The Third Founding seeks to mobilize the culture-producing institutions of civil society to support American Democracy. Examples of these “third sector” institutions include: community and civic groups; schools of all kinds; churches, synagogues, mosques, and other faith-based organizations; charities and foundations; professional associations and labor unions; independent journalism and media.
